I had no idea glitch art was called glitch art let alone, I didn't even know glitch art was a type of art. Data bending seems to be an asset in the process of glitch art. I feel the definitions and conditionals gave a different outlook on the definition of glitch are. Within that I found a more clear understanding for said definition. Before reading the article I never knew how much glitch art was used as an influencer in everyday life. The one question I have is was the first piece of glitch are purposely made or an accident that lead to a longer type of art? i ask this because it says glitch art is purposely made.
I think it is more productive to think of glitch art as a practice—a way of thinking about digital information and its platforms—than as an art form in itself. Briz focuses on the process of "misusing" these tools and digital files because it can be liberating to consumers, producers, or artists that are becoming increasingly reliant on digital technology in all facets of life. "Misuse," then, is a kind of activist attitude toward digital technology in that it is an invitation to provoke unexpected results. Sometimes they're visually interesting; sometimes they're just error messages, ha! In future written posts, try to expand on your arguments a bit more fully, and incorporate more details from the content to support your ideas.
