This course blog is where we communicate as a group, share responses to assignments, and post our work. You are required to publish posts according to assignments found on Moodle, and are encouraged to share images, make comments, and pose public questions throughout the semester.
These pieces fit together quite nicely, and the composition is active and cohesive. I just wonder if there could be a bit more integration between the three major elements (illustrated sea, desert hills, and sky—foreground, middle, back). There are so many opportunities in the folds of the hills to insert or integrate elements from the foreground information into the middle, potentially engaging the regression into space with more sensitivity. The satisfying oddities/surrealities (the shark fin and the yellow rose)might find more of a home in the image if there were more layers, textures or objects to complicate the composition. As it stands, however, the simplicity is also pleasing.
