This course blog is where we communicate as a group, share responses to assignments, and post our work. You are required to publish posts according to assignments found on Moodle, and are encouraged to share images, make comments, and pose public questions throughout the semester.
This is such a funny concept, I wish it had a bit more technical precision and compositional complexity. The idea of embedding pop culture references into an otherwise mundane mountain scape opens up so many possibilities (possibly hiding some kind of information in the thickly textured treetops, or placing an alternative vehicle on the roadway), yet this one seems to only engage two. That said, those two elements (three when including the waterfall) are well suited to the perspective of the base image. If the waterfall were contrasted down a bit, and given a logical outlet, perhaps funneling and transforming into the diagonal line of the roadway, it might set into the space better. Waldo, similarly, stands out too much. Waldo's gotta be hidden! Finding a way to position him as a realistic figure into the logic of the perspective might have given the viewer more to explore and engage with in the image.
