Final project

For my final project, I will be working on multiple stills of the same object in different stages, which I will first edit in photoshop, and then transport onto premiere pro to transform them into a short video that displays the evolution of that object over an extended period.

  1. Looking forward to seeing how this has progressed, especially because you were wondering if you would have enough material to truly flesh out a major project. Hopefully you've loaded some images into Premiere by now and are beginning to organize them into a kind of animation. There are some tricks to organizing images in Premiere. Consider changing the output duration for each imported image right in the media bin. That way, if you make all images 5 frames, for instance, they will be at the correct duration when you drag them into the timeline. Otherwise they will have to be trimmed down later and this can be tedious. For a general rule, animations should be no slower than 10 frames per second (10 individual images in 1 second of the timeline). This means you need a ton of images! Consider letting certain sections of the final piece remain like slide shows, possibly overlaying them to dissolve between; or consider using some moving image clips as well.
